Up to 1 MB. JSON → CSV requires an array of flat objects.

PNG · JPEG · WebP

Up to 10 MB and 20 million pixels. JPEG uses a white background for transparency. Animated images become a single frame. Output may be larger than the original.

Can I convert any file into any format?

No. These tools support the pairs listed above. Renaming a file extension does not convert it. PDF, Word, Excel, audio, and video are not supported here. They need separate conversion engines and their own checks for layout, quality, and compatibility.

How does CSV conversion handle my data?

CSV → JSON uses the first row as unique field names and preserves every cell as a string. JSON → CSV accepts flat object arrays, takes the union of their keys, and represents null or missing fields as empty cells. Nested structures are rejected. CSV export prefixes formula-like cells with an apostrophe and quotes fields. Import ID columns as text in spreadsheet software to retain leading zeros.

What changes during image conversion?

Images are decoded and re-encoded using your browser. JPEG and WebP use 90% quality, which can change pixels. JPEG cannot preserve transparency; this tool fills it white. Animation and original file metadata are not preserved. PNG is useful for transparency; JPEG for photos; WebP for smaller web images. Compression results depend on the image and browser.

Is Base64 a secure way to hide text?

No. Base64 is reversible encoding, not encryption. These tools encode and decode UTF-8 text; binary documents and URL-safe Base64 need different handling.
